This activity runs from:
BEGINNING OF MAY TO END OF OCTOBER

Also called " hikes of dizziness ",
routes by via ferrata are situated halfway
between the well-known walk and mountaineering,


Accessible(Approachable) to the general public,
it is nevertheless strongly disadvised to go directly to these courses
without the knowledge of the use of the adapted material.


You will follow a route cabled in a rock face, provided with metal stairs, levels, suspended beams, bridges so facilitating your progress..
All this equipements will so allow you to reach more aisement towards the summit without having recourse to the techniques of climbing.

 

Throughout your air course, you will not stop feeling this so particular sensation
in front of the surrounding Unlimitedness
and will appreciate the beauty of the landscapes
from different overhead points of view.

At present, 2 via ferrata were realized in the region of Diois,
VIA CHIRONNE (col du Rousset) and VIA BERCHE.
Our services(performances) shall steer essentially towards these two routes.
However, the other routes are possible (see photos above)

E.V.A Advice and Services

- For a full day's activity lunch is not included. (A picnic can be provided for 8 Euros.)

- Depending on numbers, you may be asked to take your vehicle.

- All technical and specific equipment is provided ( harnesses and descenders, special quickdraws, helmets, ropes…)

- You will need walking boots/activity trainers, water and sunglasses.

- Hire of all Via Ferrata equipment is available from the E.V.A centre
